Veteran C&P; (Compensation & Pension) evaluation team, where she conducts comprehensive psychological assessments for Veterans seeking disability benefits.
While Dr. Belle's primary focus is assessment work, her training and background include extensive therapeutic experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity exploration—particularly for graduate students, college students, working mothers, early career professionals, and Black women.
What Makes Dr. Belle's Approach Different
Dr. Belle brings a deep understanding of how individual, cultural, and societal factors contribute to psychological distress. In her therapeutic work, she helped clients take inventory of these factors to determine which to "reject or release" and align with their authentic values and desires. Her approach goes beyond symptom relief to create deeper understanding of how people came to feel the way they do in the first place. She uses a foundation of multicultural and person-centered therapy with elements of other modalities, along with thoughtful, collaborative, and creative "assignments" that increase personal insight and build the roadmap back to authentic identity.
Her Areas of Expertise Include:
• Psychological assessment and evaluation
• Anxiety and depression
• Life transitions and identity exploration
• Graduate and college student mental health
• Working mothers navigating multiple roles
• Early career professionals finding their path
• BIPOC individuals, particularly Black women
• Cultural identity and authenticity
